Nutritional I.V. DEPARTMENT

Health Associates Medical Group is one of the pioneers in Nutritional & Preventative IV Therapy in Northern California and Sacramento County's original medical infusion clinic.   Intravenous Nutritional Therapy is a process in which vitamins, minerals, trace elements, electrolytes, amino acids and other nutrients are administered directly into the bloodstream via IV drip.  Nutritional IV Therapy is a safe, powerful and innovative therapy that treats numerous health disorders, supports our immune system, promotes health and energy, and can help to prevent illness.

Our IV Department offers a wide range of intravenous therapies.  We utilize Chelation Therapy as a comprehensive approach to the treatment of vascular disease, heavy metal detoxification and age related disease processes.  We offer many nutritional protocols such as high dose Vitamin C Infusions for trauma, inflammation and post-surgery recovery.  We use Multivitamin/Mineral/Trace Element and Amino Acid formulas to treat a variety of nutritional deficiencies, dehydration, diabetes, fatigue and infections.  We work with several neurologically supportive products such as Glutathione, Phosphatidylcholine and Alpa Lipoic Acid.  We have antiviral protocols for viral infections, influenza, colds and fever.  We have intravenous treatments for COPD, upper respiratory infections, pneumonia and sinus infections.

For some people, barriers exist in the gastrointestinal tract that prevents adequate absorption. But with IV therapy, we can safely deliver large doses of nutrients safely into a vein that would otherwise not be tolerated if administered orally.  Vitamins, minerals, amino acids and certain other nutrients can have an incredibly potent drug-like effect when given directly into a vein, but without the side effects of many prescription medications.

All IV treatments require basic blood work and an initial exam/interview with one of our practitioners before any treatment can begin.  To schedule your appointment, call our office: (916) 489-4400
